 Gasoline dispensing facilities (GDFS) with underground storage tank subject to Phase II vapor recovery requirements must upgrade to Enhanced Vapor Recovery (EVR) Phase II vapor recovery by April 1,2009.This deadline will not be extended. 
 
SECOND EVR PHASE II SYSTEM CERTIFIED _ VST BALENCE
The Vapor Systems Technology EVR Phase II balance system without in-station diagnostics (ISD) was certified on November 5, 2007 (VR_203). this system may be installed at GDFs with any throughput under certain conditions. Visit http://www.arb.ca.gov/vapor/eos/eo-vr203/eovr203.htm  for more information. The VST with ISD certification by April 2008.
 
ADDITINAL EVR PHASE II SYSTEMS 
Other EVR Phase II systems are under test and could be available by the end of 2008; but there is no quarantee that any system currently in the certification process will successfully complete all performance testing and legal requirements to obtain EVR certification.
 
REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR PRE-EVR BALANCE SYSTEMS
VST EVR hanging hardware components MAY be used on pre-EVR balance systems per Approval Letter #07-09 (http://www.arb.ca.gov/vapor/approval/cal-07/07-09.pdf). Combinations of EVR and pre-EVR components are allowed.
 
SECOND IN-STATION DIAGNOSTICS SYSTEM CERTIFIED 
The Franklin Fueling INCON ISD systems is now an option for the Franklin Fueling/Healy EVR Phase II system as described in VR-202-E (http://www.arb.ca.gov/vapor/eos/eo-vr202/eovr202.htm) 
 
HORIZONTAL CONFIGURATION FOR CLEAN AIR SEPARATOR APPROVED 
The Clean Air Separator required as part of the Franklin Fueling/Healy EVR Phase II system may now be installed in a horizontal configuration. See VR-202-E for details.
 
AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICTS/AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICTS 
Air pollution control districts have primary authority for regulating GDF's under vapor recovery rules. GDF operators should contact the local air district for specific information on local vapor recovery requirements before modifying the facility.
